My only DIY is white, but now I'm thinking I should have gotten black, because my recognition just went down the drain after getting it.

i use white .i mostly choose white becuase i like the look of it and its jsut not plain like the traditional black palstic on rubisk brand.also i dont know why but for some reason when you looks at a black diy with nto stickers it looks soooo nicel.then when you look at a rubiks storebought when it doesnt have stickers it looks ugly.but i tihnk thats just me xD

My best cube is a white Type D, which feels different than their other plastic colors. I don't like black cubes, just because they look dirty and just ugly compared to a white cube. Complaining about recognition is just because starting on a Rubik's brand makes you more used to the black color. The stickers contrast more with the white background, and just looks better to me.

I'd like to get some Cube4you cubes in white, blue/purple, and green as well. Colored cubes are very underrated.

i posted here a while ago but things have changed. i seem to get my best times with my white cube, yet i like black better, so i dont know which to use as my main speed cube. i use black 2x2 and 4x4, white 5x5-7x7(when they come) and undecided for 3x3

I like white ones.I heard white plastic is better.

I thought so too. For some reason white plastic seems to be smoother. I guess it has something to do with how black plastic is made black. Maybe the black dye/coloring influences the material's porosity, thus making it less smooth.
I do use black cubes, but I still need do get some white ones.
