Rate my timer site! (My first website)

[JackyLovesCubing11]

Welcome to Clock it Cubes! I have been into cubing for a few months now, and I don't have a physical timer yet, so I went searching for one on the world wide web. I found a few, csTimer, SolveTheCube, etc, and all either didn't have the qualities I liked or were loaded with ads. So I wanted to try out the new Codex, so I made a website!

Clock It — Cubing Timer

Clock it cubes has a ton of features that other sites always miss! My features include:
Shows both ao5 & ao12
Keeps solves stored on the browser and saves even after you close the tab!
Includes a graph showing all of your solves and times
Different solve history for different sized puzzles
Customizable folders for different groups of solves (like one folder for your Gan, one for your Rubiks, etc.)
No ads at all!
Completely free!
You can add notes to different solves. ex: used F2l, used Beginner, whatever notes you need.
Lists best, worst, average, todays average, todays best, and ao5 on front page, with more anylitics on the "progress" page
Starting the timer is set up like a real puzzle timer!
Adjustable inspect time and toggleable penalties for being late!
Works best on keyboard but works great on mobile!

You all are my first test group. If there's any problems or changes you guys would like, just reach out! I'd really like your opinion!

can you add times manually?

can you add times manually?

No, but if you think it would be helpful I can add it.

I think you should add it, a lot of cubing timers have it so people who have actual stackmat timers can still use it. Its a very cool timer though I will try using it for a day maybe

That’s great! How do you like it?

[Scollier]

not a fan of vibecoded apps, quick thing i noticed though was that the background is broken since the body doesn't reach the full height of the page

[JackyLovesCubing11]

Yeah. This was my first attempt at making any kind of website, and I don’t love relying on Codex. I’m just trying to make something cool, and I’m not taking credit for the code itself. I will also take a look at the background glitch.

Thanks so much for trying it out!! Thanks for the recommendation for the manual times too. Tell me if there's anything else I could improve!

[J-B]

Cool, I used it from phone, and I made some solves. (My times are pretty bad though)

I would also like to create a website where you can take your times and practice with the algs of the method I invented, how you did it?

I used Vibecoding, which is using a bot to help translate your ideas to Python. I used ChatGPT Codex, i recommend starting there. Works fine without the subscription and is really easy to use- no skill really needed.

Thanks

Thanks

Good luck! Please do send me the finished product when you're done!
