Ok, so I have been wanting a 3BLD mean for a while, and my next comp has an easy cumulative time limit.

However, my success rate is very low. Most of the time, it is because I forget my memo (I use audio for edges) or because I shoot to the wrong side of a piece, resulting in a twisted/flipped piece at the end.

How can I fix these issues? I don’t care about speed, I just care about a mean. I was thinking of switching to fully visual for this task as it might make it easier.

As someone who has recently begun getting into BLD, I find that doing audio corners has worked so much better for me than audio edges. Switching to corners audio will help you get used to creating audio sounds, but it acts as a good middle ground if memorizing edges is a struggle with audio.

I'd also recommend doing sighted solves, and solves where you're reading the memo while not looking at the cube. I use this BLD tool a lot to generate my memo.

😳
For most people audio is wayyy harder to retain than visualization and images. I average sub-35 and I don't even use full audio on edges (in the sense that you only use a distinct one-syllable word for each pair)
@Discomantis I'd actually suggest that you switch back to full images since it looks like audio is giving you a problem. Imo full audio edges isn't necessary until like sub 30; you're perfectly fine using sentences until then

I think I'm going to try to switch to this. Sometimes I do 2BLD with the old pachmen method for fun, and I can audio memo perfectly fine with that.

I will do some practice solves today with this.
