Since this is an annual thing, I'm also participating in the 2026 event, which is tomorrow. It will also be a 5K run

And this time I actually have a plan, so I should do better this year
 
I ran 10:16, so I fell a bit short but I split 5:08/5:08 and it genuinely felt pretty easy so I feel like in the right race I can break 10:00. I clearly had something left in me cause I came back for the 4x4 and split high 56. Super fun meet got medals in both cause 3rd!!
 
My first 100km month! I know it's not a lot, but it seems to work - I got new 1500 and 800 PBs on back to back days with 4:47 and 2:17

yooo I ran my first half marathon yesterday (with no runs over 10k in the past month lol) and got 1:52:12. It had over 500m of elevation and there was this STUPID hill that we had to go up, like 60m elevation in the space of 500m or so.
The last 400 was around 1:10, I swear once I saw the finish line it was like it had a gravitational pull or something

Closing in 1:10 is crazy. Good work!
 
I forgot about this thread- I’ve dealt with tendonitis in the summer and it flared up again a week ago, so My highest mileage was only 42 mi, but our xc team is seeded 1st in the state at the moment, so i’m far less worried about my own results! Also got a SB of 18:26, while kind of injured and wearing vaporfly’s on grass.
