First time getting a sub-12 ao100 since 4 months ago. I think the ZBs are finally sticking in my brain

Wait, wait, wait wait. You knew full ZBLL and not full OLL?After doing a coaching session with Luke Griesser last Monday, he told me to learn full OLL, so I learned it in 3 days.
Probably wont use them in my timed solves bc I have a comp in a month, but after that, I will switch to OLL/PLL with occasional ZBLL, with the condition that I am comfortable enough with my ZB that I wont mind seeing them 8x less by the end of my comp.
For recognition, BH is the best way to recog ZB imo. I think this vid does a good job of explaining it.Hey, do you have any advice for learning ZBLL (and if so, what set of algs are you using?). Looking to get into it, but it seems pretty daunting.
Faster than me now, great work man!Generated By csTimer on 2026-08-25

What's your opinion on using ZBLL with full colour neutrality? Would recognising cases be significantly harder compared to just dual colour neutrality (which I think you use)? For recognition, BH is the best way to recog ZB imo. I think this vid does a good job of explaining it.
Also, make sure to learn COLL first, as it will be helpful to gain practice with Corner Permutation Recog.
For a place to learn the algs, I recommend https://pepkin88.me/zbll-explorer/. It has a bunch of algs for each case. Also, take advantage of the fact that it will also tell you what the inverse case is, as you can learn 2 algs for the price of 1 if you learn an alg and its inverse. It will tell you the mirror case as well, but sometimes, you will need to do an alg that is nothing like the mirror of the original case, as an alg that is too LUF gen for example might have a better RUF for example.https://pepkin88.me/zbll-explorer/
Once you know the algs, you will need to train them. After you learn a set, you will want to review the algs to make sure they are in your head. https://mihlefeld.github.io/Alg-Trainers/index.html is a good tool to use.
CN ZB recog shouldn’t be harder if you alr do CN. I used to be CN, and even now, sometimes I do CN solves for fun, and the zb recog usually isn’t much different. I imagine someone who has stuck with CN would not have any problemsWhat's your opinion on using ZBLL with full colour neutrality? Alright, I'll stick with CN then - thanks for the helpCN ZB recog shouldn’t be harder if you alr do CN. I used to be CN, and even now, sometimes I do CN solves for fun, and the zb recog usually isn’t much different. I imagine someone who has stuck with CN would not have any problems
Do you mentally twist corners, or are all 36 cases separate to you?For recognition, BH is the best way to recog ZB imo. I think this vid does a good job of explaining it.

For me, I twist the corners mentally so its only 12 cases, and for my recog angle, I only have corners either facing up, or twisted facing me, so even if I did do the separate cases, I would only need 24.Do you mentally twist corners, or are all 36 cases separate to you?
