I was wondering what a good First two layers (Fridrich) time is to get sub 20 consistently.
Average: 13.69
Fastest Time: 11.51
Slowest Time: 15.96
Standard Deviation: 01.48
Individual Times:
15.28 11.69 11.73 (15.96) 15.69 14.58 13.92 15.20 (11.51) 12.27 13.30 13.28
I have some of these on video (the 11.51 etc.) if you want me to upload, not sure if I will yet.
I am pretty sure this is what is wrong with my solve, I will learn full OLL and PLL soon, just want to perfect my F2L first.
Note: This includes cross.

I get sub 20 consistently (best average/5 is 16.59, normal average is about 17.3) and my F2L is from 9-11 seconds (maybe faster now, I haven't timed it). I have terrible last layer speed.

Sorry - I know I don't belong here because I'm not nearly fast enough (my average solve is 27 seconds or so), but reading this got me curious as to what my F2L takes these days. I hadn't measured it in about a year, since before I worked on fingertricks.

So I did an average of 25: 18.01. That leaves about 9 seconds for LL. Based on what I've seen around here, I think that's probably a pretty average ratio, or maybe my F2L is even relatively a little slow. That's surprising to me, because it was always true before that my LL was my worst part. I think working on the fingertricks probably helped the LL more than the F2L. Interesting.

I find fingertricks improve my LL more than my F2L too, mostly because even without fingertricks I can move fast enough to go at my fastest (at the time) with lookahead. Fingertricks don't really affect F2L.
