Long term timeline for 1-look CFOP / ZB to overtake 3-style as the mainstream 3BLD method

Max Park has 6-7 (meme unintentional, it was genuinely within that range) second solves of no-inspection with CFOP. I think it would be hard for 3-style to compete.
Wow, I didn't realize that. Okay, I take it back.

I guess I got sidetracked by forgetting there are people (like Max) who react so well with lookahead that they don't really need much inspection time to be really fast. I suspect the world best 3x3x3 solvers can all do close to that, so clearly my take was totally wrong.

I think Max specifically got the skill from Redux big cubes, its a skill he has to develop if he wants to get fast at big cubes as he goes into cross with no inspection

Watching the 1-look CFOP video, it occurred to me there may actually be a real purpose for 1LLL. If you know 1LLL all you have to do is mentally solve F2L and determine each piece of the last layer, then use one memorized alg to solve it. Without that, it is far harder; if you use ZBLS (blindfolded) you would have to memorize the effect of every ZBLS algorithm on every piece (SUPER hard), and if you use standard OLL/PLL you also have to memorize how the OLL alg affects every piece-- super hard. With 1LLL it would be drastically easier. Perhaps only AUF would be hard.
