How to distinguish between standard and parity case in SQ1?

At which step?

If you're doing this after CO+EO, check which of the two sides look like normal PLLs. If both or neither are normal PLLs, it's even parity; if exactly one side is a normal PLL, it's odd parity. (This works regardless of whether CP is solved.)

If you're doing it with cubeshape, refer to any cubeshape parity tutorial. (There are a few different parity tracing methods; idk which ones people use these days.)

At CP step.
If you’re going to do this then look at both PLL’s you have. If one of them is a 3x3 PLL (good) and the other isn’t (bad) then you will have parity. Any other combination means you will have no parity.

Good + good = no parity
Bad + bad = no parity
Good + bad = parity
Bad + good = parity
