Can anyone else not distinguish yellow from white on cubes nowadays?

I've been getting less and less happy about this issue for a while now, and now that the yuxin 7x7 just came out and it's super awesome, I want to see if anyone else has the same issue as me. I find it nearly impossible to tell apart white and that standard fluorescent yellow shade on cubes nowadays. It's even expanded to stickerless now. Qiyi and yuxin stickerless shades are impossible (moyu's stickerless bright shades are okay but I still prefer their old dayan-like shades) and that yuxin 7x7 is only in stickerless (sidenote: anyone know if a stickered version will be released?). It's areal pain to have to resticker every cube I get and the bizarre thing is that I'm fine with every other color. Just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced this.

Lighting is an easy fix. Many people tend to have bulbs with a low color temperature (~3000k) in their homes. Find some lightbulbs that are 5000k + (it says it on every pack of bulbs), and put those in your practice room.

Lighting and shades are 2 completely different things for me. Generally having white bulbs will fix any lighting issue I've ever encountered, and adding multiple light sources from multiple directions makes it even better. However for shades, if you find it hard to distinguish between white and yellow, replace white with black when you sticker cubes. Easy fix for both issues.

I like the black idea. My last few cubes I've just replaced the yellow with cubicle standard yellow right away, but I'm not sure how much good it does. Most of my timed cubing is at my computer, which is in a fairly dark corner at night but has a large north facing window on the right side. My times go up drastically when the sun goes down, and adding extra light doesn't seem to help much.
