Which brands/models of magnetized stickerless 3x3 cubes to date (Dec. 2022) allow the best distinction of yellow/white colors in low light and under warm white (3000K) lamps ?
I am 76 and I try to progress with the Roux method, maybe it is my age but I found that on modern cubes with fluroescent yellow it is difficult to distinguish it from white when there is not a direct natural light on the cube or under slightly yellow lamp. I have no problem with other colors (red/orange, green/blue). It is not the case with an older stickerless cube I have (bought in 2016, stickerless MoYu AoLong or HuaLong, not sure as I peeled off the label sticker
. It has a dull yellow which can easily be distinguished from white under any light conditions but it is not magnetized and not mechanically as good as both the Dayan Ten Yun and MoYu RS3M 2020 V2 that I purchased recently.
I read that the ZhanChis have better colors, I ordered one but I am still waiting for receiving it. I will try to insert magnets on it.
Are there any more recent cubes with the right (for me) colors ?
ps : I don't want to change any lamp in my home from warm to cool white (3000-3500K or 4000K)
