I've just been wondering something awhile and want it cleared up.

This is just one example but in "Melbourne Cube Day 2010" which is a one day comp. In round 1 Feliks got 39.73 4x4 WR but then in the next round he got 35.80 WR and they both show as WR on WCA.

However, I thought that if a WR (or NR/CR) was broken more than once in one day even by the same person that only the last one counts. Just looking for clarification.

Regulation regarding same day WRs was established in 2013

The reg in question:

9i2) All the results of a round are considered to take place on the last calendar date of the round, based on the local time at the competition location. If a regional record is achieved multiple times on the same calendar date, only the best result is recognized as breaking that regional record. For competitions with multiple physical locations (i.e. "3x3x3 Fewest Moves simultaneous competitions"), the calendar date is the latest date at any competition location.
