[Help Thread] Question. How many of you actually record all your solves?

I occasionally record some solves (mostly for 3x3 and OH) but it’s not really a habit I have. I average around 10 seconds so each video takes around 13 seconds. A video that is 16 seconds long takes up less than 30 mb on my phone but it depends on the video quality and recording time.

How many of you just turn on the camera and start cubing? Is it a way of capturing your pbs on cam? for what other reasons do you guys record your solves? Does it take up a lot of memory?
I only really try to film in comp, sometimes at home tho cause idk maybe i want some solves to post on yt or something.
Depending on the length is memory.
For me an ao5 which would take about 2 mins give or take, is 50mb.
If i get a good enough scramble tho i will film in case its a PB, but i dont have enough storage to film every solve.

I do record all my official solves now, after an annoying incident at a competition where footage would have helped to decide in my favour.

But at home... naaahhhhh, but I probably should, just for getting used to having the camera pointed at me :D

I use my eyes and memory
genius
i don't record my solves at all. i have my mom/dad/friend film because when i did that one comp the phone kept falling over and that gave me very bad results so thats why
i had one comp where my phone kept falling over during a 2x2 finals round and luckily i was able to fix it while still inspecting (pro gamer move)
