The Do you want to race to Sub-x thread

What is CVOB
Caleb Valenzuela’s Optimized Block (CVOB) is a new method he created, and is similar to OBLBL but with a more efficient approach (efficient in terms of turn speed. (He hasn’t computed the average movecount yet)
Here are the steps:
Step 1: Solve the Blue and green centers as if you were using Yau (he’ll be more in depth with these steps in the official tutorial)
Step 2: solve a 1x3x4 with the blue center on the left
Step 3: expand the 1x3x4 into a 2x2x3 (making sure you preserve the FL pair) using F3L techniques. Repeat again to expand the 2x2x3 into a 3x3x3 cube
Step 4: solve the front center (in his case it would be usually red) and the DF edge using F3L techniques
Step 5: finish edge pairing (like in Yau)
step 6: solve 3x3 stage using the APB method

Cool, I made my own 3x3 method called PFCL and it stands for Pseudo-cross, F2L, COLL, L8E.

Pseudo-cross: Do EO (which lowers the last step move count) and put either white or yellow edges into a sort of "cross" on the white side, doesn't really matter which ones (this makes f2l easier)
F2L: Normal CFOP method F2L with only natural moves (as to keep EO done)
COLL: do either COLL or OLL/PLL for the last layer corners
L8E: Solve the last 8 edges using commutators.

I average around 25-30 with this method (not counting EO because with that I average like 45-50😭)

anyone wanna race to sub-4 2x2 ao100?
I also average sub-2 3bld, sub-14 3x3, sub-55 4x4, sub-1:45 5x5, sub-1:30 mega, sub-30 squan, sub-7(i think) clock, sub-4 pyra, sub-7.5 skewb, sub-24 oh, sub-3:20 6x6, and sub-5:50 7x7
I haven't cubed in a while but if you wnat to race i can

I might could race 2x2, skewb, and squan, I average 4.5, 6.5, and 27 respectively

Uhh anyone wants to race to sub 3 ao1000 / sub 2.8 ao100 / sub 2.5 ao50 on skewb?
(Idk how close or if want to @Kivvi , but it woild be fun, since i think only like 5 people avwrage around that and idk if they are into racing)
I’d love to, signed up for a comp with Skewb today too so some motivation could be nice
Here are my pbs for each category:
3.62 ao1000
3.32 ao100
3.17 ao50

Nicee, my PBs are faster (3.40, 2.96 and 2.85), but i got them more than a year ago, so now I think we are pretty close, I think we could do ao1000 since we are closer for that and is more important?
