8355 is easier than LBL. You insert the middle edges using 3 steps instead of 8, and you don't need to learn four LL algorithms. And you missed the point of this thread, which is to find the easiest algorithms for LBL.

Very sure he is a she.(Orient: L'-U-R-U'-L-U-R'-U' / Permute: R'-U2-R-U-R'-U-R).
pretty sure you mixed up the definition of orient and permute but whatever...
Pretty sure he made that post a year and a half ago and hasn't even been on the forum for a few months but whatever...

This is what I do for corner orientation, borrowed for Lars Petrus, the alg is just his Niklas but with the cube turned in order to make it easier for me to do the turns.
Corner Orientation:
There are three cases:
1. All corners are orientated correctly, do nothing
2. two corners are in the wrong place, hold the two corners that are correct in the RUF and RUB corners, and do the alg R U' L' U R' U' L
3. For the case of all corners are orientated incorrectly, do the previous algorithm twice in a row, and there is no need to pay attention to which corners you do it with.
I wondered if 8355 could be simplified even more. I just did two solves like this:(R E)*4 for EO
R' D' R D (repeated) for CO

Very assertive statement to make without any further explanation to back it up. Are you sure? Why?THE EASIEST METHOD IS THE LBL METHOD. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT LBL MEAN SEARCH IT ON GOOGLE.
The easiest method for a beginner to learn should not have very much intuitive about it, or any need to understand the cube.
It seems that blind memorization (especially if it has a pattern!) is much more attractive to the beginner than understanding the spacial relationships on the cube. I have an admittedly TINY sample size, and I tried to teach under adverse conditions (a party), but I still think my experience says a lot about how beginners react to various techniques.
