I was learning commutators for 3-style, and came to the thought of 4-style and even 5-style.

Are these [number]-style methods even possible/somewhat profiting to learn if they are possible? And if so, what would be the commutator counts for these methods.

If 3-style has N number of commutators, would 4-style have N^ⁿ commutators (where N would be comparable to commutator count, so count would move linear compared to N in N-style)

I might have asked this too complicatedly, but being the nerd I am, I wanted to include some mathematics in the proving of this theory.

Thanks, pyraaron, 15, Finland

@abunickabhi knows A LOT about 5 style, he even has like 5 threads about it
i dont think its linear

3-style is the only set which is relevant.

Although I am a beginner so I don't have much to say.

Why do you care if someone wants to talk about something they thought interesting? Even if it's not worthwhile, don't put people down for being curious.
There are better avenues to be curious about ;)

Higher order commutators and complexity due to it can go to puzzle theory category.

This is in no way related to speedsolving and/or blindsolving.

My account is not hacked. Just trying to prove that higher order odd style are not worth it

😀
Please do not mislead the community.

I am a beginner and have done no significant work to prove the worth of UF5.

My methods have been refuted by top solvers and they have blocked me for their peace of mind.
im 99% sure you are the main person trying to prove the worth, so really you have done ALL the work, significant or not, to prove the worth of UF5.
Higher order commutators and complexity due to it can go to puzzle theory catagory.
I understand the "higher order commutators and complexity due to it can go to puzzle theory category"

This is in no way related to speedsolving and/or blindsolving.

But the part about it having nothing to speedsolving and/or blindsolving is just pure bogus.

In theory, higher style = faster times (ignoring practice). Idk about you, but the theory of a way to get faster times, is very much related to speedsolving. And, higher style is very much related to blindsolving.

im starting to think abunickabhi is the most controversial member
did you know collective responsibility in schools is a war crime and a violation of human rights

just look at ih8blds profile post

Can you delete this topic as it is discussing a thing which is not worthwhile?
I don't understand how you dare to post such a message, asking someone not to ask (deleting the post is the same) a question about cubing, especially after so many years creating posts and updates about 5-style.
As far as I know, no moderator asked you to delete your messages about it.
Of course, several persons wrote that they did not believe in UF5, sometimes not with the kindest words (but at least politely), but it is the purpose of a forum to be able to discuss things.

I don't have anything against you, and find most of your messages interesting/normal, but in my opinion, you should not be a moderator anymore after this.

Thank you for defending my side.

Thank you for defending my side.
He’s just upset he arrogantly presented 5-style and made up claims for years before finally caving to the negative feedback.

That said, you definitely should have done a little bit of research and read over previous information to know stuff like even-number styles can’t exist lol.
