So i currently main the meilong 3m.

I love it but its a bit basic.

So i got my hands on another meilong 3m !
And well.

24/9/25 - Took apart my meilong and rs3m 2020, and i swapped the cores ball thing, the screws and springs. Everything else is the same. Im doing this as the meilong 3m core is too big to mod for a ball core.

25/9/25 - My friend is trading with me for a YS3M. This gives me access to maglev, as i can easily just swap out the maglev for springs, which ill probably like more then the standard one.

However, the meilong 3m has a tight place to put the screw and that, so depending on the size of the maglev rings i may have to mod the centers.

Do you think you'll mod any other cubes? Because I'm really into seeing what other people can do with their cubes (although I am not brave enough to start sanding down my cube for florian mods - I'm too scared the cube will be unusable)!

I did a mod for my RS3M V5 BC where instead of the original edges, I put in the RS3M Super Maglev edge pieces so my cube had cyan and purple tracks. Also nice mod

I mean, yeah i hope so, i think my next mod would probably be to my ylm squan.

But at the same time. I am aware i could completely ruin the cube at the same time, so it actually took me about a month of thinking over whether to risk losing a meilong m over trying to mod it.

Tried to swap with maglev, the tjing surrounding the screw is too small, so i have to shave it away.

The Dremel has a sanding tip that can be used for fine detail work on plastic, especially in tight spaces.

Wait does the rs3m v5 bc not already have maglev ?
Rs3m 2021 probably best to swap maglev with tho (for a ezy cheap maglev cube).
Just find a moyu cube with maglev, all of moyus maglev rings are the same size.

It's dual adjustment, unless you get the Max Park version. It has a screw & spring for center piece travel and maglev for tension adjustment.

yeah. The screw has 2 options, spring or magnets, and the tension is based off of that. It also has core magnets. Right now I installed the maglev option instead of the spring. I just didn't know it had the magnets until I looked through the box and found it in a baggie that I missed. Good thing I didn't throw the box away.

buy an rs3m maglev ngl. It gives you everything you need, and you have a semi-solid cube
