Competition recap:
first round of 3x3 went pretty well. 14.19 average, but on the first solve I +2ed. If I didn't, 13.52 PR average.
Skewb first round. I did ok. Choked on the last solve, got a 7.88 average. I somehow got 12th, l got me into finals.
4x4. Started out with a terrible solve. Then a bad solve. Then a whatever solve. Then a good solve. Then a good solve. Weird round, result of not practicing.
Clock first round/final. My hands were really sweaty. I started out with 3 bad solves, ended with 2 decent solves. 14.12 average.
The comp was running behind schedule, so they had to cut clock finals and 5x5 finals. An older gentleman had some kind of medical emergency, which slowed down the competition.
3x3 second round.
15.60 average. I +2ed again, some bad solves not a good average.
5x5 was 5x5. My first solve was decent. They changed the cutoff from 2:30 to 2:00. I had a chance of still making it. My second solve probably could have, but during edges pairing I had a bad lockup. A piece popped out, and it took probably 15-20 seconds to fix. That really messed with my flow, so I got a 2:25.
Then came skewb finals. I did unbelievably well. 6.00 average that should have been sub 6. On the last solve I dropped the cube, so it could have been low-sub 4. Still happy though.
Overall really fun comp. Had a great time.

I've been averaging 14 on 3x3 recently, and I'm kinda stuck there. Skewb is still a priority with, and I am practicing that.
My next comp is April 5th, and it has 2-4, 7x7, clock and skewb. 2x2 and skewb are my biggest priorities there, so I will practice those the most.

Good skewb session. A few sub 6 ao12s. I could easily get a sub 6.5 average at my next two comps, if I keep my nerves down and have good scrams I could get sub 6. I am also hoping for a sub 4 2x2 average. Sub 14 3x3 would be nice, and don't really care about 4x4 or 7x7. I won't make 7x7 cutoff, so a single is fine. PR in clock should be easy. Will keep grinding 2x2 and skewb.

Track is now in full swing, with practice till 430. I don’t cube as much on weekdays, so expect sub-par results at my comp in a few weeks.

Comp recap:
First round of 3x3 went well. I got a PR average, 13.43. Nothing crazy though.
4x4 first round also went pretty well. 58.07 average, but it was WPA. BPA was 54.89. I got 9th, securing a spot in finals.
2x2 first round. I got a 4.09 average, which is OK. I did DNF my 3rd solve so it could have been faster.
7x7 was 7x7
Clock first round I did terribly, which would bug me if I cared about this event. I DNF'ed my average, with 2 dnf's because 1 corner was 1 tick off.
3x3 second round is where things really took a turn for the worst. In first round I got 11th, and top 12 made finals. I knew I had a chance of making finals, so I needed to do well. I got a 14.46 average. I +2ed on my 3rd solve, which resulted in a 13.83 average fail. I got 13th in the round, if I hadn't +2ed, I would have gotten 12th and made finals.
Next was skewb first round. My first solve was a DNF because I didn't start the timer. My 2nd and 3rd times were ok, but not good if I wanted a sub 6 average which I did. My 4th solve was a low 4, but as I stopped the timer I also turned it off. I turned it back on and it was blank, so the time was a DNF. My 5th solve was a**. DNF average, DNF out of finals. You can imagine how I felt, DNF'ing my main event. My next comp also does not have skewb. I think I have a case of @CubeLite syndrome.
Next was 2x2 second round. I did fine, 3.96 PR average.
4x4 finals wasn't great. I got a 1:01 average.
2x2 finals was again, fine. 3.97 average.
Overall a meh experience, didn't have a great time. Throughout the whole comp I had issues with the timer starting, which led to many DNF's. The venue was also small and crowded.

. 9.21 PR PB2 single! It was really lucky, just had a decent F2L, good OLL, and PLL skip. The rest of my average was good, but I kinda failed PR. I had good BPA, but on the last solve I didn't start the timer, and counted a 15. 13.47 average, 0.04 off PR
2x2 first round: Wasn't great. 4.28 average.
Then came Pyraminx. I didn't start the timer twice, DNF'ed my average. And both times I dnf'ed, were like 5s
Then 3x3 second round. A couple good solves, but a +2 and 2 counting 16s
Squan was after that, and I did pretty well. I got a 20.64 single, and 32 average. 1/5 parities
Megaminx was Megaminx
OH was after, I did really well. Two 19's finished with a 22.66 average
2x2 finals, PR fail. On the last solve I needed ~4.6 to PR, but I choked, got 4.73, +2'ed. 4.03 average.
3x3 finals, again, not great. DNF'ed cause a cap popped out at the end. So I counted an 18 and got another bad 15 average.
Overall a decent comp. I realized I have a bad habit of not waiting to start the timer and dnf'ing.

Update: Now I am grinding OH. I have taken it on as my secondary main, other than skewb. I have gotten many new PB's, today alone, including 16.46 single, 18.18 mo3, 19.17 ao5, 20.47 ao12s. I have also gotten new PB skewb ao12s, 5.40.
