Spent an hour and a half practicing intuitive F2L today. I wasn't timing it most of the time, just working on getting it into muscle memory.

Yeah, I got another half hour in waiting at the restaurant for dinner.

Also a lot of time at night before I can actually fall asleep.

Yeah, I avoid screens for at least an hour before bed, helps me fall asleep easier and feel more rested in the morning. During that time I usually read or cube, and sometimes knit or crochet.

Bro, my 2x2 is a Shaolin Popey speedcube, and it's straight garbage. Corner cutting is amazing, but that's useless because it doesn't turn fast enough or smooth enough to need corner cutting. Unfortunately, my parents don't let me buy stuff, so with my job I'm sitting on 3 grand in the bank and nothing to buy.

I've been tracking my F2L practice sessions separately now, and only solving with F2L. It's inconsistent, but when I'm in the zone, even with how little time I have put into F2L so far, I have seen some promising times. I even set a new PB with F2L 3 minutes ago!

Breaking news: junior year of high school started 
. I set a new PB, although I think I got lucky, because I still average low to mid 40s. I was using stopwatch lol. I also ordered a Moyu RS3M V5 ball core magnetic uv coated, and because I got it through speedcubeshop I went ahead and got PVC coating and exoshield overlays. All in all it was a little over 60 bucks. Should be here Friday, if USPS doesn't screw things up. 
I desperately need to fix my fingertricks. I never learned real fingertricks, just used whatever was comfortable.

MoYu RS3M V5 arrived yesterday! I gave it some oil to reduce friction (GAN daily maintenance) and did 35 solves between yesterday and today. Big difference, my new pb single is 28.81, ao5 is 37.90, ao12 is 42.80, and mo3 is 37.50. I also got the PVC coating and exoshield overlay option, which has resulted in me violently throwing the cube across the room a total of zero times. Normally, it would be at least four. I have also noticed that it hasn't popped at all yet, or twisted a corner, even under the fastest tps I can produce. My GAN 356M would explode. IDK if it's the ball core or what, but this cube went above and beyond my expectations.

I took a break during finals last semester, but I'm back to practicing and I'm getting super close to my goal.
