So, school started for me today. I'm a senior in HS taking rigorous College Classes (in person and online ones). Pretty Scary. Pretty exciting. haha. A bit sad cuz, cubing, 3d printing, etc has officially taken the back seat. no more grinds, no more awesome improvements. I'm really sad about 4x4. was my favorite event, then I quit and said i'd be back when the gan v2 comes out, but it looks like i won't have much time to practice even when i do get it. sub 50 looking impossible. Happy and grateful to be starting a new chapter in my life. Sad that i'll have to sacrifice my focus on the things i love. wanna say thanks to this forum cuz i know that life is gonna get crazy for me and this place is gonna be my happy place even if I can't actively cube.

Band camp starts tomorrow for me. I feel your pain.
You know, I rarely ever cubed during the school year. I also just frequented this site every time I had to sit through a math lesson I already learned.
band camp will likely leave me much more dehydrated than you.

so school started and I haven't practiced my mega 2-look oll in over a week...I literally remember nothing... am sad. will definitely try to reinforce tho

pb ao5 in weekly. was pr and pb. 45.79 second ao5. that beats my previous ao5 by 3 whole seconds lol. the average is still not fully sub 50 tho. I had one 52 i think. I haven't solved 4x4 since my break...well I've only been doing weekly. when i was grinding i was struggling to break my barriers, but since this break, I guess I've refreshed and am ready to get cracking. still waiting for the release of the gan 4x4 or aosu v7 before i continue the grind.

hey all, hung out at lalaland 24 hour comp today. didn't compete but shopped at scs (met cameron and jayden), hung out with @Bingus Ringus McDingus (the g is still there), and made some friends and flexed my 3d printed cube. I bought a spooky cube and my first bottle of martian at scs. the spooky cube is so cool. it's not stickered, the plastic is like dyed or somthing. it's not tiles either lol. martian is awesome. better than lunar maybe. I also traded with bingus for an aolong from 2015 so that was cool. I can average really well. Grahame Siggins got 60/64 in mbld. bingus and I ate Burrito's at lunch. He demolished his lol. I tried out a gan 5x5 and mega. am in love with those but have to try the hong. only stayed for 2 hours, but took home memories that I'll keep forever. can't wait to compete again. hopefully I can find something after i graduate.

hey nerds! i got my first timed 3bld success i've been grinding since last night. didn't take too long! slower than my attempts so far, but that's cuz something crazy happened. I had parity, but i forgot to do parity so me being me un did half of my corners without messing up, did parity, and then solved it lol. oh man that feels good.
