I've been practicing 5x5 and I noticed I have gotten significantly worse, I avg 1:25 now when I used to avg 1:19, and overall I've been trying to get my times down. Here are my splits:

F2C: 12
F3E: 13
L4C: 15
4E + Last white edge: 25
L4E: 11
3x3 stage: 10

What should the splits be for, say, 1:10 avg solver? I use yau (not yau5)

I do not do 5x5. But what I can tell you though, is that sometimes you'll hit a slump. Perhaps a big one. It sounds as that it what is happening to you now, and that's totally normal. What I encourage you to do is to keep on practicing useful steps such as center building and lookahead.

Try to improve your edge pairing times, using tricks and good lookahead
Been trying this, I couldn't find anything and lookahead on 5x5 is easier said than done, at least for me
I'm having a lot of trouble looking ahead for the edges, I still don't get why literally everyone says it's super easy

a good thing to work on is f3c and l4c. sometimes if you're not efficient at those you can be slow.
also don't learn new things right before a comp lol.
I learned eg-1 4 days before a comp and it worked out well, EXCEPT...

Try to do deliberate practice,

look at walkthrough of people faster than you.

It is not easy but with practice, a lot of things get faster and intuitive yo

i average just above 1 min and here are my splits
sub 10 for f2c
around 20 for f3e plus l4c
more than 20 for l8e
id say 3x3 stage is just under ten
