So, i am trying to get good/decent in each event, but i dont really know what to consider "good"? Not world class or expert, just good... So what do yall think?

just try beating wr because in my exeperience, no matter how fast you solve there will always that non cuber who comes to you and say "woahhh you're fast! what is the world record for comparing?? WHAT???? yo slo lollllllllll"

That is so relatable it's happened to me like a million times 🤣

Here are all the barriers id consider you good, or decent
3x3 sub 8
2x2 sub 2
4x4 sub 30
5x5 sub 1
6x6 sub 2
7x7 sub 3
OH sub 15
3bld sub 30
FMC sub 25
Megaminx sub 50
Square-1 sub 10
Skewb sub 5
Pyra sub 4
Clock sub 6
4bld sub 4
5bld sub 10
Mbld sup 30 cubes
Is this by global or like single cause in 3bid I average mid 30s but I have a PB single of 23 seconds

there is a difference between good and expert they prob just put the avgs they get
nah, i would say all of these times are well achievable without learning the most advanced method or technique at all (ofc they do make it a lot easier though). i am all rounder and have been cubing for 11 years, but i dont avg close to most of the times i listed as "decent". just NxNs. the times i chose were based on my careful observation and experience with each event. for example, if someone tells me they average 1:10 on 5x5, sure that's nothing to scoff at, but in my head i dont think "wow they're *fast*". same for someone telling me they are only 7.5 global for clock, or if they average 38 for bld. theyre not fast by people who really specialize in the event.

Here are all the barriers to be called good in an event:

3bld sub 17
FMC sub 22
Megaminx sub 35
Square-1 sub 10
Skewb sub 2.5
Pyra sub 2

OP did specifically note

Not world class or expert, just good... So what do yall think?

And given that they are almost exclusively world class results, these barriers seem quite restrictive

Sooo... nobody is good at 5BLD. Including Stanley Chapel.

Here's "casually" good (all times are sub, apart from multi):
3x3 - 12
2x2 - 3.5
4x4 - 50
5x5 - 1:30
6x6 & 7x7 I have no idea, but they're irrelevant anyway (fight me).
3BLD - 50
FMC - 35
OH - 16
Clock - 8
Mega - 1:20
Pyra - 6
Skewb - 6
Squan - 15
4BLD and 5BLD, no idea, but I'd say consistent successes honestly.
Multi - 8

All of these require some effort (I think you need most effort to get sub 12 on 3x3), but then you'll be able to go to a comp and solve and not be bad. If you disagree, that's ok.

sub5 for pyra and sub3 2x2 have to be changed

I'd say everyone's definition of "good" to be slightly different, but I think here are my opinions:
2x2: sub 3.5
3x3: sub 10
4x4: sub 35
5x5: sub 1
6x6: sub 2
7x7: sub 3
OH: sub 16
Pyra: sub 4.5/sub4
Skewb: sub 4.5/sub4
Clock: sub 7
Mega: Sub 50
Squan: sub 13
3bld: sub 45
4bld: sub 5
5bld: sub 10
MBLD: >20 points
FMC: consistently sub 30

In some events, simply getting a result is already good. Getting a successful result in any bld event and finishing big cubes (especially 6x6 and 7x7) under the time limit to get a full Ao5/Mo3 is an achievement. Look at how few competitors have results in those events compared to 2x2 and 3x3.

For 6 and 7 I'd say sub 2:30 and sub 4 should be good enough
I'm somewhat close to these times but it will probably still take some time to get there.
I think sub 8 for clock and sub 15 for Sq-1 is kinda hard tbh
