I'm lazy so I don't feel like learning 7Simul, but I still want to be fast for my next comp next month for Clock so i can get a SR

Help Please

Edit: btw the SR's are 7.74 single and 8.78 for avg

Realistically, sub-8 is the most you'll achieve with solely flip. Learning no-flip instead of 7Simul should be easier, which will bring you hopefully around sub-7 or low-7 if you're fairly fast.
Are you saying within the month timeframe?
Because if not you are absolutely wrong, many people averaged 3-4 while flip was still the dominant method.

Yes, I'm saying within the time frame he has. But I agree that sub-5 is possible with flip, but it will take time.

Very possible. There are sub-4 averages with flip and sub-3 singles, but it does take a lot of practice. You have to be pretty solid on pin orders, different flips, corner skips, etc. In the time frame you have it could be pretty difficult, but if you REALLY REALLY grind you could honestly get sub-8. I got back into cubing the spring of 2022. Started out sub-20 ish on clock in probably February and got my first sub-6 average in June.
