If y'all consider rock climbing a sport, then I fit in this thread! I climb twice a week usually, mostly top-rope but I like to mix in some bouldering too. Maybe one day I'll learn lead-climbing, if I can get over the fear.

Should be a good crowd, too. Good luck - will be interesting to see how Goldstein works out.Today is the first game of the season for our team (Essendon) in the greatest game of all - Aussie rules football. Feliks and I will be there!
I climbed a few times but my forearm strength (and strength in general) sucks and the closest climbing gym is like an hour drive away so I stopped going. If y'all consider rock climbing a sport, then I fit in this thread! My forearm strength used to suck too. Then I kept climbing, and I got strongerI climbed a few times but my forearm strength (and strength in general) sucks and the closest climbing gym is like an hour drive away so I stopped going.
Yeah, it’s fun to try to make half courts occasionally, but 3-pointer and free throw practice is def more productive practice. The probability that you are in a game winner situation where you need a half court is pretty low.I like basketball a lot. But the problem is, I can’t make a half-court yet. I also need more accuracy one my 3-pointers and free throws.
Yeah, I agree with @Running for cube . Half courts are mostly for a buzzer beater, or. a last minute situation, and otherwise just for fun, testing your accuracy and strength. Also @AhsanDaCuber125 you should be able to shoot from anywhere inside the three point line.Yeah, it’s fun to try to make half courts occasionally, but 3-pointer and free throw practice is def more productive practice. Six foot what?I play basketball. Trying to become a better post player bc I’m six foot so I need to fill the position well.
Yeah, but half courts/full courts are also really fun. I've always been a 3-point shooter, and it's huge advantage. Defenders have to either give you an easy 3, or play defense on you much higher up the court, which then adds a lot more opportunities to drive to the basket.Yeah, it’s fun to try to make half courts occasionally, but 3-pointer and free throw practice is def more productive practice. If you want to get better at long range, start close, and work your way up. Say you start at the free throw line area. Once you get good at that, take a step or 2 back, and try from there, and then just keep going until you reach the 3-point line, and by then you should have not only more accuracy on your shot, but more strength to shoot from farther.I like basketball a lot.
