What is the most cubing-developed country?

We're talking about most comps, most professional cubers, and best results.
Results are appreciated.
Most comps is easily US.

Most professional cubers I think is US but it could also be china

Best results, it depends. In popular events like 3x3, Pyra, and 2x2, China leads by a comfortable margin imo, though US is easily more well rounded

China, USA, and

Poland.

Here are a bunch of different ways of looking at it. The last table is interesting because it shows countries that are small but mighty. In other words, the countries who have a high number in top 100 proportional to their total number of cubers.

Number of comps:
  1. USA - 2,614
  2. China - 629
  3. India - 524
  4. Brazil - 430
  5. Poland - 423
  6. Australia - 411
  7. Canada - 334
  8. Spain - 323
  9. France - 277
  10. Colombia - 268
Number of cubers:
  1. USA - 44,791
  2. China - 24,004
  3. India - 17,186
  4. Australia - 9,081
  5. Canada - 7896
  6. Brazil - 7266
  7. Russia - 6647
  8. Poland - 5273
  9. United Kingdom - 4,661
  10. Philippines - 4,560
Number in top 100 in 3x3:
  1. USA - 31
  2. China - 11
  3. Poland - 6
  4. Australia - 5
  5. Philippines - 4
  6. Netherlands - 4
  7. Germany - 4
  8. Canada - 4
  9. Norway - 3
  10. Korea - 3
Number in top 100 in any event:
  1. USA - 502
  2. China - 194
  3. Poland - 154
  4. Australia - 91
  5. Germany - 74
  6. United Kingdom - 69
  7. Korea - 66
  8. France - 63
  9. Canada - 51
  10. Indonesia - 46
Number in top 100 divided by total number of cubers:

In all your calculations, don't forget that China has 1.4 billion people.

24'000 cubers out of 1'400'000'000 people is not very much, even if they have the fastest one.

I think all the number you mentioned should be put in releation to the population of these countries

I think there is a certain statistical bias in most posts here.

1. There is a big language barrier between the english language and the languages spoken in china. This barrier does not exist in most european countries and most people in the USA already speak english by default. But many nationalities and languages spoken in the asian continent have a bigger wall before english (figuratively and also the difficulty of learning english coming from their language) than germanic languages.
2. Big point. China is known for their secrecy even in mundane topics. It's entirely possible that a big portion of their cubing community is hidden from the western audience/community. You can imagine that information about cubing falls under their complicated freedom-of-press situation. China does not want to make their youth look interested in playing games to the outside world as seen with gaming and other forms of competetive games.

Because of size, USA, we win on comps. (because we have the most) They're not always official, but I'm guessing that there's a lot of them.

Now when it comes to speed puzzle technology and production, China is tops like a mf'er!

However when it comes to solving and overcoming unique and strange puzzles, I think that the UK and then the US are in the lead. China can build them, we can solve them.
