I'm curious, is there any methods that have been made specifically for the mirror cube?

I am aware that you can simply use a regular 3x3 method like Cfop or Roux, but are there any methods that have been created for the mirror cube to make it easier or more understandable? for example, EO is extremely hard on the mirror cube because it can be hard to tell if an edge is flipped or not, so, is there something that'd be hard to do with colors but easier to do with shapes? maybe blockbuilding would be easier (because you're literally building a block lol), but what else?

Not really, no. The only thing you can really do is choose your method based around the ergonomics of the puzzle. I personally choose to solve with the smallest face on the bottom and then the next smallest side on the bottom so that I can use slice algs more easily and have side on the right hand. I use ZZ 😎

Stefan/The Seppomania, who used to have the first unofficial Mirror Blocks Sub 10 and hold the official World Record for a long time, uses CFOP as his main method and he always does Cross with the biggest side on Bottom.
