The Zhilong Mini 5x5 v1 is 58mm. The 4x4 is 56mm and the 3x3 is 50mm.

Yep, that's why I hope the Zhilong 5×5 v2 is a bit bigger

I think YJ was just showing off how small a decent 5×5 they could make vs Moyu's Meilong, but a bit bugger and they could have made a really good one haha

A new Zhikong mini at 59/60mm would be great if they made it a mini of the MGC 5 instead of a mini YuChuang lol

The mini 4×4 is a pretty nice size although 57mm might make it fit nicely for more (faster) cubers

and yes, I have and like all three in the set

That was a good catch, I almost bought them before you pointed out that is wasn't the new version. They did just release the UV version of the better Solar System line I think? The plot thickens-ers. Still not the 5x5 I am waiting for though

From what I could tell, comparing pics and the fact I have the DS Solar S4M and Solar S3M 2022 Maglev (both are xapped and with glossy finish), these nrw releases are not that same good quality

They seem to be lesser versions with a slightly different naming scheme that relies on the words "UV" and "Solar" to get more sales...
but they aren't calling them "S4M" and such like

When they first announced the UV thing, they called it "Solar" and it was not the same capped design as the S4M as I have... This was discussed waaay back in this thread haha

From the pics and TC's stated release date, it looks kike DS ditched calling the inferior one "Solar" at all in the name
Also interesting is
this new UV release of the S4M looks to be a new design altogether...
The original S4M that I have is @ 60mm, but...
According to the specs on TC's item page, this new release of the S4M is 59mm

Yes, so it appears they released UV coated versions of their budget and premium 4x4's, but only released a UV coated version of their budget 5x5. Both UV coated and non UV coated versions of their premium 5x5 are still MIA (with the non UV version having been missing for a while now)

The Qiyi M line is a budget line iirc, though regardless, they would still be good cubes, especially for their price. IDK if top cubers will use this, but considering the valk is discontinued, the M pro line might become a flagship line or something.
