Just a personal opinion, but I would say to take your time with CLL. The way I did it was learn 1-3 algs a day, maybe more if they were really easy, and then use Jperm’s CLL trainer to really get comfortable with the cases. It did take me about a month to finish all of CLL, but I was wondering if anyone else did the same.As what Discomantis said, if you want to get fast, CLL is very important. I stuck with Ortega for way too long, and I regret that. CLL is not that difficult, and it will only take a week, or maybe even less. Learn Ortega ig, but once you get Sub-6, just switch to CLL. If you practice a lot, you can getSub-3 with CLL, but I was Sub-3.5 with CLL when I switched to EG.
Also the cube is important. You definitely want to get either a GAN, MGC Elite, MGC, or Valk 2. Any other cube that is decent could work, but it would help a lot to get one of the cubes I listed.
For your recommended cubes, would a GAN 249 v2 (non-magnetized) work? I currently main that, but it’s a little small and of course, non-magnetic.
