Perhaps he's trying to apply 6-cycle edge pairing from the 4×4...?Honestly Freeslice is such an easy concept I have trouble figuring out what exactly you need help with.
wthPerhaps he's trying to apply 6-cycle edge pairing from the 4×4...?
I think that's what it's called in reduction generally when you make 3 edges together at a time then 3 more, etc...
oh is just 3-2-3I think that's what it's called in reduction generally when you make 3 edges together at a time then 3 more, etc...
in Yau it's the same basic technique but it's called 3-2-3 edge pairing since in Yau you make the first 3 cross edges before finishing centers...
yep, I have even heard oeiple call it 12-cycle ... for Reduction methodsoh is just 3-2-3
I never saw the term "6-cycle edge pairing"
Yes I'm familiar with meyeryep, I have even heard oeiple call it 12-cycle ... for Reduction methods
but Yau (and I guess HOYA also) has really caught for a lot of CFOP solvers so mostly you hear 3-2-3.
I sometimes also use MEYER method for 4×4 which is like the Roux version of Yau, and it uses something kike 3-2-3
Have you seen any ducks here lately? ¯\(°_o)/¯Thanks guys, appriciate it!
It's called 3-2-3 during Yau because you solve the last 8 edges 3, then 2, then 3.I think that's what it's called in reduction generally when you make 3 edges together at a time then 3 more, etc...

Lol I didn't even notice what he said. It's called 3-2-3 during Yau because you solve the last 8 edges 3, then 2, then 3.
No, it's not, and even if people did call it that, it's a bad name because the actual cycles used are 7-cycles, not 6-cycles.in redux generally its called 6-cycle
