Fenthegoat Progression thread.

I wanna learn squan… but it’s been so long since I’ve learned an even. I don’t even remember how I learned how to solve a 3x3. What should I do?

Search up a tutorial. I liked this one:

Parity sucks to learn but just bite the bullet and do it

(I still haven't learned it but that's beside the point)

Tingman describes an easy way to learn the parity alg. Really easy to understand.

I used CubeMaster’s tutorial + the one above to learn square 1.

Learn Yau. I think you can use 3-2-3 edge pairing on 5x5 as well.

Unlike on 4x4, Yau is not superior to Redux on 5x5. The main 5x5 methods are Redux, Yau5, and Yau (yes they're different), and all of them are good (not many people use Yau though and the most popular one is redux). So if they want to use Yau they definitely can, but it isn't objectively better than redux.

I don’t want to learn yau or yau5. So what would make me better at redux.

Thanks for the info!
