Recently I’ve been getting in to blindfolded solving. I am starting with 2x2 and working my way up. When I get a piece of paper and a 2x2, I can write down my moves and the letter pairs just fine, but I have a few questions that no tutorial can solve because all 2bld tutorials are from 2-4 yrs ago.
- How do you remember the setup moves with knowing the letters? Since it only swaps stickers not pieces, I don’t understand how “TelEphone MoNkey” would tell me the moves I need to do (partway through I realized that knowing the stickers means you can memorize the moves to put those stickers specifically in swapping position, but I just wanna be sure.
- Are there common triggers to make certain stickers go certain places (e.g., If I see the sticker has to go a certain place, I instantly know the setup moves are F’ R’)
- Any tricks on how to memorize it just that little bit better?
