How can I get sub-30 on 3x3 with CFOP?

I average 35 secs on 3x3 with the QiYi Warrior S. I learned advanced cross, advanced f2l, and 4 look last layer, but I just can't break 30 secs. Maybe it's my cube because the reverse corner cutting is GARBAGE and it catches a lot

just drill solves and have patience, you'll be sub30 soon

Get better turning then. Your planning and look ahead are probably poor. Learn LL algs

Although a better cube wouldn't do any harm, the cube is not the problem (i became sub 11 with what i believe to be the same cube). At any level, the key to improving is to identify your own weaknesses and fixing them (e.g. by filming or, what i prefer, doing slow solves and looking for better solutions than the ones you would currently do).

If you can't figure out good solutions to certain cases, youtube probably has a good one for you. (Or J perms F2L pdf or whatever)

Just do solves I can get sub 30 with the QiYi Sail W (which is almost the same) with 2 look oll and pll

My turning style is a bit wild, so a magnetic cube may help, as I get a lot of catches. I do slow solves a lot, but I don't film, maybe I should critque my own solves

Look ahead is not necessary until sub 20. I'd recommend turning fast during the solve at your speed. Also find good f2l solutions. This is a good video to watch:

If you do these properly you should become sub 30 just by doing solves

Learning Full PLL. 21 might seem like a lot, but it is easier than you think. You will easily be able to learn it within a week. After that, do a few hundred solves, and you will get Sub-30.
alternatively learn full pll - g perm and turn gperm into jperm with aperm.
Clarifying to turn Gperm into Jperm, Look at the corners and do the opposite of the A perm that would solve them, Then, do a Jperm

Thanks for the video, it was helpful, but I am still slow to react to the cases

That's why you need a good lookahead ;-)
You don't need to have a full plan of all your pieces at that level but less searching for the next pair helps a lot on this level.

I'm also around 30 seconds to recognize pieces earlier and plan the cross were the points that helped me to get sub 30.

I would also recommend to learn full PLL. For the G-Perms its maybe easier to forget the pictures with the changing pieces and just look on the Headlights and the Block.
Put the Headlights always to the left. There is a set of algs that is fully mirrored, so you basically have to remember just one alg

Ga (block down) -> (R'2 U R' U R' ) (U' R U' R2) (D U' R') (U R D') <- Gd (block right down)
Gc (block up) -> (R2 U' R U' R ) (U R' U R'2) (D' U R) (U' R' D) <- Gb (block right up)

For Ga, Gc you can read the alg from left to right, for Gb, Gd, read it right to left.
Ga and Gc Start to the direction of the side block and if the R Layer turns clockwise, the U Layer turns counterclockwise, then you change directions but keep the same rule. If you change to the third block you keep the direction of th U layer but change the R Layer.

In the backwards direction you start to turn from the block to the gap and turn U and R layer to the same direction first

Maybe a little hard to explain but with this method I could learn the GPerms quite fast and because of the easy rules i could still remember them when I learned OneHanded.
If you do a Ga you get the Gc, so you can learn them together and just reverse the alg to get back.
