I've heard the Mr m is pretty bad, I think a safer bet would be the ylmit is pretty good for the price but if you are an experienced sq-1 solver get the mr m
Or even better the Volt.I've heard the Mr m is pretty bad, I think a safer bet would be the ylm
Maybe because it's not as good as everyone says? Why has MGC not been mentioned
If everyone says it's good, I'm pretty sure that's a solid majority opinion we can trust to make judgments about how good a cube is in general.Maybe because it's not as good as everyone says?
Probably, but I have done ovwr 600 solves on it and it either doesn't turn or it pops.If everyone says it's good, I'm pretty sure that's a solid majority opinion we can trust to make judgments about how good a cube is in general.
Whether you like it personally is a different story for sure, but it appears that almost all top square-1 solvers use the MGC.
sorry i forgot about thatWhy has MGC not been mentioned
glad to hear your opinionI've heard the Mr m is pretty bad, I think a safer bet would be the ylm
whatOr better yet, the mforwkfnviep 11 Pro Elite Power X j3 SuperMega Earthquake Trump 425 M V9.
MGC is the best, although make sure that it is not too loose or it will pop. The Volt is another good option, although I've heard it has core stepping issues.Still MGC or there would be any other options?
The MGC doesn't really have breakage problems, from what I have heard and experienced.Honestly, even buying a Qiyi Qifa and magnetizing it yourself would probably be a better option, as the corner cutting and stability are only paralleled by the MGC, which has breakage issues. But if you don't like magnetizing things the MGC should do just fine.
Buy extra cores if you solve fast, though.
The Core on the Volt V2 can't strip as it comes with a Steel Nylock Nut from Factory.although I've heard it has core stepping issues.
You don't hear as much about it anymore, maybe it's gotten better but they have been prone to breaking Edges. The MGC doesn't really have breakage problems, from what I have heard and experienced.
Oh, they must have changed that. Are you sure? I know I’ve seen (older) videos where people said that it didn’t come with one.The Core on the Volt V2 can't strip as it comes with a Steel Nylock Nut from Factory.
You know, it’s ironic, cause my MGC’s SQ-1’s edge literally just broke. You don't hear as much about it anymore, maybe it's gotten better but they have been prone to breaking Edges.
That is indeed weird since I bought one close to release that came with a Lock Nut.Oh, they must have changed that. Are you sure? I know I’ve seen (older) videos where people said that it didn’t come with one.
Yes, the MGC is great, but make sure not to keep turning if you get a lockup, or it might break. And if for whatever reason an edge gets stuck, it's best to take apart the cube rather than trying to pry the edge out, as it can break, as it did with mine.So mgc is a good option.
Maybe there will be some new sq-1's next year.
