Don't cube past 8pm
Good idea but i think it wont work for himI wouldn't encourage disobedience, so it's best to just obey him and then later on ask him to (maybe) lift the deadline.
Or you can just disobey him and buy quiet cubes so the noise wouldn't annoy him.
I have other hobbies till 8pm most daysHonestly I don't see a reason to not just stop cubing after 8, after all, there should be plenty of day before 8 to cube?
If you just do what he says he might decide to change his mind back anyway.
Want to learn FMC but dont understand it can you help meIf you are allowed to use your computer after 8, you could do virtual solves. It takes a little to get used to it, but I've found that for myself, I'm actually faster on virtual cubes than real cubes. If you have any interest in FMC and your dad wouldn't get upset at you for it, you could see about doing that.
So the core idea of FMC is solving a 3x3 cube in as few moves as possible. You generate a scramble, and then you have one hour to find a solution. You can use up to 3 cubes at a time to try different solutions and what not, and are allowed to rescramble as many times as you need. What matters is that you have written your solution down by the end of the hour.Want to learn FMC but dont understand it can you help me

To start, you can just use CFOP to find solutions. But you may quickly realize that CFOP is designed for speed and not for efficiency. Instead, people learn various other methods, such as Petrus, Heise, and ZZ, and choose to use the method that has the easiest solution.
More advanced cubers also use some really cool techniques such as NISS, Insertions, and Domino Reduction. All of these are impossible or impractical to use for speedsolving, as they rely on doing things such as preforming the scramble backwards and doing PLL algs in the middle of the solve. Don't worry though, you can still have efficient solves without doing these methods. I just wanted to mention them to give you a better understanding of what higher level cubers do.
If you are interested in learning more, I suggest watching videos on YouTube. A few years ago I loved Speed Cube Review's videos, but they may be outdated by now.
Act sad like you have depression until he takes you to a therapist and then tell the therapist you want to cube until 10 pm.My dad dont like the noise of my cube so he set me a deadline till 8pm(normal bed time 10pm) what should i do?
Ngl this might work.Act sad like you have depression until he takes you to a therapist and then tell the therapist you want to cube until 10 pm.
He isntIdk if I can help you
Maybe talk to your Dad and tell him you really care about it and then ask if you can move rooms further away from his? IDK
sidenote, why is your Dad asleep at 8:00????
then why can't you cube past 8 if he's still awake? He isnt
