Nice, Im sure this was a lot, but I would really appreciate some SHTM optimal PLLs if you know where I could find something like that or explain to me your methods for making this.
you can use kubesolver ;) from kubesolver.com
however generating 9-gen algs is quite slow for more than 10 moves
Code:
INFO: KubeSolver 1.0.6
set_gen RUFBUDMES
set n 1
INFO: Setting max number of output sequences to 1.

R' U R' U' R D' R' D R' U D' R2 U' R2 D R2

Not advertisement, he's just providing options for alt algs that you could add (although less movecount optimal, but still slightly ergonomic so like a middle ground). I'm sure the people who use your sheet would love to have many different algs for different purposes per case, it would be a good addition.

You do have a point but i dont wanna take algs from someone, because then its gonna be hard crediting him. Just tell me which alg u need a more optimal movecount PLL and ill try my best.

I'm not a lawyer or anything, but I don't think algs necessarily need credit. Unless they were found manually (very hard to do) they would've just been genned from a software. Even if you want to credit people, which I definitely get, you can just put it at the top of the page (like thanks to @(somebody), @(somebody), etc. for providing some algs). Although I believe what OreKehStrah said was "feel free to take".
If this doe
which alg u need a more optimal movecount
We already have optimal movecounts, I'm suggesting we gen more than one alg of the same movecount, to give people options, as well as genning algs with slightly sub-optimal movecounts (probably around 1-3 moves more) that may have slightly better ergonomics to give people an alg that both has a low movecount and is not too awkward to perform (doesn't need to be regripless and whatever, but a subset change could achieve this I think).

I'm definitely not trying to dispute what you're doing here, on the contrary, I'm trying to provide ways that this can get even better as a cubing resource!

Edit: why am I writing walls of text today...

Different algs also have another benefit, because for people who use OLL and PLL for FMC (like me), different algs starting on different turns means you have more options to choose from after finishing OLL. Cancelling moves from OLL to PLL is a crucial step to reduce movecount.

By that logic no one should use algs from you either if they want move optimal algs. They should find them themselves. If you’re so stubborn you don’t want anyone else’s input get off the forum then. I would think you’d be appreciative given how many people said it’s pointless, but I guess not.

If we want the most optimal algs we should also consider auf tricks. Idk if you did this in your alg sheet, but is pretty important for saving 1 move or more if you find a nice cancelation with another auf trick alg

I just don't get the treatment here. The idea of Move-Optimal Speedsolving algs can be seen on about every JSCuber video in the comments and in many threads around here. Always it gets shredded to bits. But this time around, people defend it with their bones.
One comment this is good for FMC, another Comment this is even good for speedsolving.
Why is it different this time?

In case it’s not clear, it’s pretty silly imo. Which is my sheet is a tab in my “Silly LL Algs” doc. I simply shared my sheet since I think a lot of mine are decent if people want optimal algs for whatever reason.

Noooooo don't close it. Or if you really want to can you send the algs to me thru PM?
I wont change anything or anywhen. I just want you all to take like 2 minutes and read this. Most of the people here just wrote that this is useless. I want you guys know that i spent hours creating these algs just for you guys and thats your Thank you? Saying "Oh if you dont wanna take anyone else's input then get off my forum" or "Learning these for FMC is completely useless"! I just wanted to help and you guys need to consider "Oh i dont like this alg sheet ill just wont use it" and not spend a moment of your life writing a paragraph on why this is completely useless. Im really sorry and dont want to offend anyone, just putting out my opinion. Now lemme go fix the Ga and Gb algs

For the record, when I made my certification, I spent about 300 hours doing so and any thank you I got in my company was my boss saying that doesn't change anything, I am still the worst furniture maker he had ever seen.
Sometimes you work for nothing. Especially when people voice their concerns on PLL and you still continue to make OLL.
I guess you made this sound like a hearty post, but that doesn't quite reach me. This is a forum, a place where new things are meant do be discussed. If you post something on Etsy or Youtube, you can tell everybody that doesn't like it to go, but not on a discussion board.
If you feel offended by us, it's good you voice that but please consider what offends you. Back on another account, Stefan and Kirjava weren't nice to my new ideas either, far worse than what you have heard. But it was time for me to filter out the information and advance. Just superlative dentences until they read 'completely useless' isn't helping your mental health. But I do get that you are getting into an age where everything starts to be the worst thing ever.

I'm not sure why you are bring that into the discussion, it just makes you seem childish.

As for your other points: What does it matter that your boss/Stefan treated you poorly? Just because they did it to you it means that it is the correct way to act? Have you considered that the way some people acted in the past actively pushed people out of the forums? How about instead of him having to "filter out" what you are saying, you just don't say it in the first place. It's not contributing anything.

Regardless if his work is "useless", he is still bringing fresh passion into our hobby. Perhaps he needs just needs to have it directed into another area? Or perhaps his work on this will lead him down the path to a very useful contribution, thus making this endeavor the opposite of useless. Other people in this thread have tried to redirect him instead of taking your approach of just calling it worthless.

It's ironic you say that on a discussion board one shouldn't tell people to "just go", but that's exactly what you are doing. It's the people actively putting time and effort into our hobby that need to be encouraged.

EDITED: removed a sentence I thought was needlessly mean. I probably shouldn't reply after a 15 hour workday.
