Sub-15 average quest

Hey, I'm wondering if anyone has any tips to be sub-30 average of 5, i'm so close and hoping to get there by Christmas. I know 2-look OLL and PLL and i was wondering if anyone had some general practice tips.

Learn lookahead.It got me a solid 5 seconds faster in like a week when I was at your average.

Worthy quest, but ao5? Better than a PB, but far from a declaration that you are indeed a sub30 cuber.

Yeah, i intend to get to sub-30 ao5 by skill not luck, so if i get one i assume ill be able to get more, and if i cant, ill be able to practice to get most of my solves under 30 seconds, but thanks for the statement. also, i was wondering what 4x4 i should get becuase currently my events are 3x3 and 3x3 Oh

go for lookahead at sub 20 or sub 15, not sub 30. For now, @benthecuber, just focus on your f2l to get it in 20 seconds, and learn full pll.

no, lookahead is very important to learn early. you need it from sub 35 down in my opinion

no thats going to be too hard and confusing for people who are just sub 40.

your cross has to be around 4 - 4.5 seconds, 20 second f2l, and then your last layer should be around 5 seconds.

its going to be confusing. Jperm said you have to know every alg or most of them without seeing it and when you see the f2l case, you have to instantly do the alg. That takes time to do, so learn lookahead at sub 20 or 15.

yep actually you might get it to around 15 seconds.

you should actually get f2l to 15 seconds, cross around 4 - 4.5 seconds, and then get your last layer to be sub 10 seconds.
