it right now when it isn't necessary.

Thats assuming you one look, with pauses you need to turn much faster than that.

True, I forgot that. If you add 9 moves to the movecount--this is to replace the pauses--you would need about 6 TPS. So you still don't need 10 TPS.

I’m sub 4.5 with Ortega. You don’t need CLL at all.

just diag swap and layer
i avg sub 3 with only ortega algs just make sure u are familiar with the algs and practice

Are you ridiculous bruh?, you only need full EG if you want to be sub 1 or something crazy like that, Varasano is absolutely sufficient even for sub 4.

Not really? The Saudi Arabia NR for 2x2 average is 4.47, and the Egyptian NR for 2x2 is 4.73, and that seems very easy to do with ortega

I've learned 13 CLL algorithms but I have some things I can't figure out. Like how the hell do yoh deal with plus two 's!? I'm so screwed in them. Please can you tell me how much should the CLL and First layer take of the solve?
Edit~thank you all for your replies, I'm going to go with varasano since I know most of the algs and continue learning the CLLs to reach sub 4 or something .

Good for you but as I mentioned we aren’t all TPS kiddies who are automatically good at 2x2.

You don't need high TPS for sub-3. All you need is minimal pauses and decent TPS. TPS does help, but if you can do your solve with no/low pauses then only around 5-6 tps would do the trick. If it only takes you a second do to your layer/face and 1.99 seconds to do CLL/EG +pauses then you are sub-3.

You're right but there ARE in Egypt. I go on vacations every year so I might go to one
