Thatd be fun. But it might take a couple trillion years to compute.
Perhaps not a trillion year for a fairly optimal solution. I reckon that a reasonably optimal solution could probably be found with a few months worth of computing time.Thatd be fun. But it might take a couple trillion years to compute.
True, but if we do every possible 2-look 3x3 method, then it will take a while, each method woulf probably have millions of algs (I'm to lazy to do the math right now so that could be way off) Of course more optimal methods could be genned if you weren't finding algs for each case, and used block building AI or something.Perhaps not a trillion year for a fairly optimal solution. That would be very interesting, though CP-square would be an intuitive step not an algorithmic one, but LS+LL with CP solved could be interesting.what I was wondering is could you do CP square into 2GLSLL as a right block in ZZ/LEOR/PETRUS
because if cp square is viable it could potentially make 2 gen 1LLSLL viable which would be awesome
edit: i'm going to look into this actually

We can revive it. (Hopefully)I guess I ruined the thread
That could be interesting, but the point of the thread is to break up steps into 2-look methods, and find the best way to do that with a program, this would be one look and we wouldn't need a program to find out how to break it up since we wouldn't need to.Something cool would be making paring the third F2L pair, and then before inserting, doing an alg to insert the third pair while making the 4th one and maybe even inserting it.
I know full ZBLL and I would love to help u any way I can. Ive done plenty of my own research into everything and I know a lottt about the cube.I've had this idea, starting from when I started trying out ZZ. I want to try to make a program (With help ofc) that crunches through every possible 2-look ZBLL method (Or would it be 2-look EO LL method, correct me on my terminology) to find the best one. So it would test methods like OCLL-->PLL, COLL-->EPLL, and weirder things like 1x2x2-->L5P. I don't have the programming expertise to do this, so it'd be great if people could share tips and pieces of code that would help. The main thing that we would need is an alg generator that can link directly to python code so we can automate it, but also notation for substeps, and other things.
