What average did you have, when you got your first sub 10?

Hi.
My Ao100 is 17 sec. I wonder when I can expect my first sub 10 PB. Current PB is 11.4.

So what average is needed to realistically get a single sub 10?

I've never actually gotten a sub-10 (my PB is 19.8), but I'd imagine at around a 15 second average. Of course, you could get an LL skip and end up with a sub-10 when you average 20. So I'd say it depends on luck, but realistically you're close.

Yeah, I agree with @DarkSavage.
I got my first sub-10 when I averaged around 14s (I is a while ago so I don't really know)
It all depends on that one perfect solve, lucky or not, which you might get today or in 5 months.

I got my first sub-10 (sub-9 actually, it was 8.86) when I was averaging around 13.5.

I believe around 15 seconds in Ao100.

Nowadays my average is 18s in Ao100 and I get some 13s singles.

I average 20 secs, but have gotten very close to sub-10 around 2 times with 12 second singles. I think I'll get a sub-10 single when I get sub-18

I don't know what i averaged but to date my best avg100 is 16sec and I have 4 sub 10 singles, being 2 sub9

I average mid to low 14s and I got my first sub 10 in June when I was averaging about mid 15. My PB now is 8.30.

I average 20-21 seconds and recently got my first sub 12 second single. I took a break from cubing but before the break I was averaging sub 20 with a 15 second pb average of 5. I am kinda annoyed I took a break because now I feel so slow. I hope to get a sub 10 single when I am back to sub 20 consistently.

My first sub 10 in comp was when I averaged 11.5.

My first sub 10 average in comp was when I averaged low 10

My friend iwannaganx got a 13.81 single just recentl, and he averages 25 with intuitive f2l and 4 look LL. It's all luck really

Don't generalize though, I'm pretty sure there are loads of people who have a sub 10 even when they aren't sub 20.

i honestly forget my first 2h sub 10, but for OH i averaged 17-18 and got a 8.9 that was 28 moves htm. i can find the recon if anyone wants lol
