[Help Thread] Easier 2x2 Methods?

Hello.. I am looking for some easier 2x2 methods other than the Ortega and the Beginners method.

Sorry to break it to you, but there really aren’t any viable 2x2 methods other than Ortega/Layer by Layer. I know it may be difficult, but you will be much happier in the long run if you stick to one of those two. Just learn an algorithm a day, try to get it into muscle memory, and you should be good! Don’t try to rush it. (Also, if you don’t have one already, get a decent 2x2.)

yep... although you could solve all but 3 pieces intuitively (3/4 of a layer -> intuitively solve 2 top layer corners) and then finish with a few commutators.

Agreed, although if this person doesn’t know Ortega, I highly doubt they understand commutators. You’re right about the lack of algorithms, but I highly doubt that approach is “easy”. I was thinking about this though, so kudos for bringing it up!
