Hi guys,

I've been learning ll for 3x3 and I'm wondering what to do next.

I know full pll minus r and n perms and 2 look oll - 3x3 and ~21 seconds
I know full Varasano (I call it that, but no one cares) and average ~8 so when should I learn cll
4x4, i average 1:40, when do I switch to Yau
Squan, Skewb, and Pyra I know what algs to learn so im good on those
Thanks Guys! and maybe this thread could help others out
P.S. What about Clock algs lol(I'm kidding)

Learn algs as regularly as you like so long as you feel they will make you faster (which with very few exceptions is always). This especially hold if you want to use CFOP or ZZ rather than Roux.

2x2- You can get sub-5 with LBL and Ortega. I would start learning CLL around 6sec.
3x3- Finish learning Full PLL ASAP and then start on Full OLL.
4x4- Learn Yau now and you will get fast.

K I have it down already so that's 3 more plls left LOL what if I use ja for the other n perm? And can you name some fast people who use it so I can study their executions?

I know its common since Jb is fast, just not who specifically off the top of my head. And heres the other N perm if you want an easy alg just to knock it out:

(r D r' U2)*5

I wouldnt use that indefinitely, but its better than 2 look for now

Finish learning PLL as soon as possible and work on OLL whenever you get the chance.
Learn CLL whenever you feel like it, but it's possible to be sub-4 with LBL and Ortega alone, so you definitely don't need it at this stage. You may never need to learn it; it depends how good you want to get at 2x2. If you want to get good though, you're going to have to learn it sometime, so there's no drawback to learning it (or any subset) early.
Switch to Yau (or Hoya) as soon as you feel ready.

Most of my answers are ambiguous because you seem to know what you need to do to get faster, but you're just not sure when to do them. Personally, my view on it is that knowing more will never hurt you, so if you have the time and motivation, learn as much as you can whenever you want.

I can execute that algs faster than the standard one but that's probably because my Tps is slow, I use the standard one because it might be faster when my fingertricjs are better
