more then 10 seconds :D:D:D:D:D

oh sorry I didn't think the accomplishment thread was for anything, just for things you really thought were worth posting there (double BLD in 1 min) or something crazy like that

nah man, anything that's accomplishment to you, even if it was 1 hour, is worth posting in there. Besides, BLD has its own accomplishment thread. ;):)

Also, you will find that your times will go down REALLY quickly soon. My first day, I was at like 6 minutes, then after two hours i got down to 3. A few days later I was down to about 1:30. Just keep practicing, and you'll be sub-1 in no time! =)

You got it completely wrong. Most accomplishments are not worth their own thread. Really awesome accomplishments (think WR) should have their own threads, otherwise better post in the accomplishment thread so we can more conveniently ignore it.

And seriously... are you going to create new threads announcing your future records 2:05, 2:01, 1:58, 1:51, etc etc etc? That's kinda not worth posting *at all*.

At the very least, include the result in the thread title so I can see right away that I'm not interested, without having to open the thread.

Maybe the beginner's section should have its own accomplishments thread...

Well he did warn you in the title :D

Nothing is noobie about droping your times by about 10 seconds!

Um, how often do experts drop their records by that much?
Just once so far on 5x5x5. From 1:58 to 1:48 (expert?)
But I also got a 16.69 as my first sub 20, dropping about 5 seconds (not an expert!)

i wouldnt say im an expert by any means, especially on the 4x4...

but just before the new year i was around 1:50-55 (and much worse under pressure). then only a few days later (the 4th or 5th), i picked up a 4x4, and got a new PB average of 1:38, with a single best of 1:29.

just now (10 or so days later), i got a PB average of 5 of 1:28.65, and a couple of days ago got a 1:12 (around that, anyway) single.

so yeah, not an expert, but not a 'noob'. and arnaud, i would say that sub 1:50 on 5x5 is definitely expert :)

anyway, stefan would be pretty much right if he had said 'times' not 'records' :p

I got a drop from 43.xx to 31.xx. Needless to say the 31.xx was really lucky and remained my PB for a long time (until I got another big drop to 24:53).
(OK, I'm slightly cheating, I'm not taking into account the 37-38ish time which was my PB in the 80s.)
