I'm curious, I use my old f2. I just don't like the newer cubes for feet they flex too much. I find cutting is unnessary for feet and too much of it is a hindrance. 3/4 of a cubie and no reverse is enough you have the floor.

I feel what you want for hardware in feet is very different than in regular speedsolving.
The poll states newer as being post GuHong since that cube was in my eyes the first "mordern" speedcube. It was completely different back in 2010.

Also how much would a bigger 3x3 help with feet? What size would be the best?

A slightly tight SS Aurora. Because of the tensions it never pops and is super stable for feet, while also having sufficient corner cutting (I find that some is necessary). I've tried the FII, but it was really hard for me to switch after being used to the Aurora, mainly because the turning was easier due to corner cutting.

I just got a big sail (68mm) for feet use, but it's way too fast/loose. I tightened it down and wiped the stock lube out, but I just can't get the layers to line up. I got a couple roughly 2:30 solves with my Rubik's last week, but the two I've done with this one are 4:18 and 4:34. And the first one was a PLL skip. What can I do to stabilize this cube? Just dump a pile of weight 5 in? Or maybe some sand or flour?

Aolong V2, tightish tensions. I love it. It corner cuts forward and reverse and I do rely on that a lot.

The big sail was disappointing out of the box. I'll try to work on it after the comp with feet tomorrow.

Try sand papering the insides and put a single drop of nail polish remover for "lube" plus that gets rid of the scratchy feeling
This sounds worth a try. I don't think I have nail polish remover, but I'm sure I can figure out something. I've done maybe 20-30 feet solves, and my best single is ~2:25. I'm going to a comp next Saturday with a soft cut of 2:30, and I really want to make that cut. Since the cube was only $7.50 I'm not too worried about ruining it. Other than the big sail my options are Thunderclap (corner twists) Zhanchi (pops) and Rubik's (slow, but well lubed and very stable. Current best if I can't fix the sail).

Shengshou Fengyuan

How's that working out for you?
I currently use a thunderclap (I actually don't get corner twists on it; I think it has something to do with ZZ not using F moves, so the whole solve is practically pseudo 2gen.) as my Feet main, and also my 2H main. That grosses out some people apparently. Also, my cube feels a little sticky afterwards.
I tried out my AoLong, but that was too slow, and didn't turn very well.

Does the Fengyuan feel anything like a thunderclap, or does it at least turn as fast as one?
