I'm the new kid...
So I was looking for some good Non-WCA puzzles and shape mods. Any suggestions? I can do 3x3, Megaminx, Pyraminx, and Gear Cube.

Before I suggest any puzzles I would first recommend that you learn how to solve big cubes first and maybe at least the theory behind BLD.

With that said, I think that shapeshifters such as the ghost cube and mirror block are always interesting and a change from the WCA set of puzzles though cuboids are a good option as well.

BLD? I never really had any interest in that. How does it help?(legit question)
I have a mirror cube, it's really cool. I was thinking of getting a Mixup cube. And I'd be getting these puzzles at the same time as probably a 4x4 and 5x5. Ghost cube is also on my list.

My first and only shapshifter is a YJ windmill cube.
It's just a 3x3 shapemod and is really fun, it is recommendable for begginers.
A fisher cube would be good as well maybe.

It doesn't really help for speedsolving but it is useful in just understanding the cube and it is pretty cool to be able to solve blindfolded. Plus it doesn't take long to understand.
I agree.
I've only ever done a handful of successful BLD (OP) solves, as it's not my main interest but I use the concept of setups all the time when figuring out how to solve different puzzles.

Blind is really tiring when you start out but if you put some time into it to get faster so that it's less tiring and time consuming, you might find it much more enjoyable.

TwistyPuzzling haas a really good YouTube playlist on this topic. Also, don't get the Meffert's Ghost Cube - my stickers started peeling really badly after less than a week. Haven't touched it in the 2 years that I got it again.

Also, anybody give pointers on where to learn BLD? I still find it very confusing - Noah's tutorial wasn't very clear either, is there anything else?

There's Zane's tutorial.

Add some cuboids to your shopping list ;)
Will do ;)

I actually recently took an interest in it. I looked at the first 2 parts of Noah's tutorials, but meh.

I'm getting the Stickerless Z Ghost.
I'm still (kinda) trying to find a good tutorial. I'll look at Zane's later.
