With a lot of exciting activity happening in the development of new 3x3 methods (such as ECE), I think it would be really helpful to establish what are the actual records for non-CFOP speedsolves. For example, what are the fastest official averages for Roux, ZZ, Petrus, Waterman and any other method that has been used to achieve sub-15 averages. I suppose Roux would be 7.37 by Alex Lau, I've seen some circa-8 ZZ and Petrus averages (non-official), not sure what the official fastest are. It is a shame that the WCA database has no data regarding what kind of method was used in each solve. I think competitor age as well as some data regarding the solve type would be super valuable for the future. I'd also be interested in videos of the fastest non-official averages, but I'd say official would take priority, if you have any knowledge please post.

Listing what method people use, would require a massive amount of data collection, and really doesn't seem nessary to me. The logicalists of collecting it is a promblem and this list could never be complete. Also I think the WCA does track age however, it's not listed for privacy reasons.
