[Help Thread] Cubing Injuries?

I managed to hurt my hands by doing feet solving. I unconsciously grip the sides of the chair while I solve, and since the chair is hard and wooden, the bases of my thumbs are now swollen and a little painful.

so again, kind of off topic but I always keep my hands right next to my timer when I do feet (I keep it on the table), so I accidentally stop it half my solves :P same goes for OH

Solving with roux, stressed out my left ring finger and it started twitching involuntary. Had to rest for quite a while

You should definitely try solving with the timer on the ground; it can feel really cramped and difficult when you're not used to it. That's what happened to me the time I did feet officially, I had never done it on hard floor or with a stackmat before, so it was basically like trying to do an official solve in an event I had never practiced.

There should really be a feet discussion megathread, shouldn't there?

Once i was solving a 3x3 on loose tensions with wt 1 and it popped and hit me in the eye.

I have a small cut on the inside of my right index finger, and it doesn't even hurt but it's been slowing down my times by about 3 seconds for a week now :(

That happened to me when i tried to remove the stickers of a Moyu cube, right under my fingernail.
I just peel the stickers off.
Yeah the stickers are very sturdy I have a red shade on my backup and it has not chipped for the year I've owned my cube and the other stickers have chipped you should also use a sticker peeler it can be found at the cubicle.
