Hello.

My friends cube feels godly top me, so I asked her about where she got it. She got out from a college student, who sold it for five bucks. It feels light and airy. It is pretty fast. It's white in color. The logo is in Chinese. I know it isn't a MoYu because of the logo. It had small holes in the corners, which creates that light/airy feeling. Here's a picture.

It's a YJ logo, meaning that it is either a sulong, a yulong, or chilong since the guanlong doesn't come with a logo. Based on your description I would guess it is a sulong with its light and airy feel.

So, I have someone thinking they got a fake cube. They said it’s a QiYi and it definitly has the core but I can’t figure out what it is. Any help? I thought Bullfight but the torpedos in that were just one piece/color.

Bullfight has the center pieces very different:

It seems the mechanism of the sail/dimension cube:

http://zcube.hk/Brand/qiyi/mfg-333-Dimension
but I can't find a stickerless version of that mechanism.

Hmm, aside from the obvious difference in construction (2-pc vs. 3-pc), the Sail has tracks on the pieces whereas the mystery cube does not appear to. It kinda looks like a MFG YongShi except the mystery cube has 2-color torpedoes (QiYi cubes are sometimes branded as MFG/MoFanGe overseas).

But none of the YJ cubes you mention have holes in the corners. Only the Moyu Huanying and Liying had those holes.

Anyone know what cube this is?

Here you can see better pictures of the mechanism.

They sold Bullfight and Thunderclap under the Newisland brand before, but this cube looks different.

What kind of cube is this?

I bought a stickerless cube from a store in Toronto. I have yet to find out the name or brand. Here I have 2 ^178FBC774289258253B56AB0D061096B41F4059CD7F17F34A6^pimgpsh_fullsize_distr.jpg

Identify this 1980s era Rubik's Cube knock-off?

Recently became interested in cubing. I have this 1980s era vintage Rubik's Cube knockoff. Was hoping to learn more about it. Does anyone have any information on this particular counterfeit 3x3 cube? (Would love to see a photo of it's original packaging, for example.) Obviously it's distinction is the gold, purple, and pink colors vs the regular Rubik's colors from that time.

Appreciate any help/info.
