well, it might mean you need to work on edge pairing...

my centers + 4 cross edges are either sub1 or sub50, my average is currently 1:40

I would think so. My cross+centers takes around 40 and I average sub-1:25. Practice edges.

You are doing edge pairing and F2L Yau5 style right?

Nice solve!! I personally think that if you do the last edge cross before the centers is better (watch Pedro Roque example solves video on YT) can be a little trick but once you get it will be faster.

Thanks! I actually already do the Pedro Roque variation, it's just quite hard to tell in this solve.
