How do I get sub 15 on 3x3?

I'm Sub-15 on certain days, some days averaging 15.xx. But on my good days, my cross is 2-3 seconds (I should really work on that...) F2L is like 9 seconds average (inc. cross), and my LL is like 5 seconds average unless I get like an N-Perm or certain G-perms. For your cross I'd look at advanced cross videos and getting it under 8 moves all of the time, and try to look for your first pair during the cross (practice by doing the cross blindfolded). For your last layer I think just learning PLL will help, and then getting all your algs under 3 seconds (Most under 2). For F2L just work on our lookahead obviously and recognition. And as others have previously said here, learn F2L algs for weird cases. Oh, and learning X-cross isn't necessary, but it definitely wouldn't be a bad idea.

What Should I Improve On To Be Sub-15

So today marks the 4 month anniversary since the first time I ever solved the Rubiks Cube.

Today I got a PB Average of 16.68

(14.68)
15.67
18.02
16.35
(18.56)

A normal 17 second solve would consist of:

Cross: 2

F2l: 7

Oll (2 look): 5

PLL (Full): 3

I use to the Gans 356, my pb single is 11.18 full step.

Ive been stuck at getting 17-19 second averages for a week now and its extremely frustrating because my improvement is sowing down drastically
However, I think within the next 2 weeks, I could get at least one sub 15 average with your help.

Any advice is much appreciated.

My question is, does everybody get stuck where I am around 4 months into cubing?

Not seeing my numbers go down is annoying.

Thank you.

You average 17, but your PB Ao5 is 16.68? That doesn't seem right...

Learn full OLL. It's a lot of algs, but they're very short and most of them are really easy. They'll also help you a lot; 2-look OLL is very slow for some cases.

Normally when I pick up the cube, i can knockout a 17 average pretty easily. Not sure how I got a 16 but it happened.

I average 13.

You need splits like (for 15)

Cross: 2
F2L: 7
OLL (1 look): 3
PLL (1 look): 3
All steps count recognition, and PLL counts AUF, thus entire solve is counted.

The only step you really need to work on is OLL, for now. A 9 second total F2L is pretty good for someone with a 17 average, but your OLL is just bad. When I averaged 17, my F2L took around 11 and a LL of 2.5+3.5=6. You 1 look OLL will REALLY speed you up. Learn the algs. Many of them are easy, and there aren't that many really bad ones.

Alright, now I need someone to help me. I don't know what, if anything, I should be learning. I'm stuck (not quite, I'm slowly improving but it is still kinda discouraging because I only improve by like 0.1 each week) at a 13.2 average. My splits are:
Cross: 1.9
F2L: 6.9
OLL: 1.8
PLL: 2.6
Any tips? Thanks.
