How do I get sub 15 on 3x3?

Well, personally I would work on removing pauses. And if you are consistently getting those as your average solves, I would say that you are sub-15. However, do your OLL and PLL times include recognition? If not, work on that. Also, if you feel there is nothing really you can work on, because you feel your LL is good enough, find out new tricks for F2L. i.e: setup: R' F2 R F2 solve using x M U2 M' x' or any other way that feels good to you.
Well, for some solves I have very good recognition but still don't make it under 15 seconds. I'm thinking that it's my F2L pairing and inserting each pair. Maybe it's because I'm inefficient with my F2L I'm not sure though.

XCrosses! COLL's! OLL skip stuff! This is the time to learn all the good ol' alg sets that you never thought you needed before!

Of course, you could stick with what you have and try to speed up F2L TPS.

Or you could do both suggestions above at the same time.
Personally, i'm not sure if i should start learning COLL and i don't even know full OLL yet (i have 6 OLLS left). I try to make crosses when I have the chance like i'm not going to make an xcross if it looks like it's going to take a couple seconds to solve. I have pretty decent algs to. My TPS is pretty good to for my F2L and my look ahead is getting better and better.

Oh yeah, I forgot: Have you tried learning some VHLS cases? The 3-5 move ones and the 2 no-EO cases, not the whole set (because most of them are too inefficient). And F2L cases from different angles, maybe? I use no-EO VHLS cases instead of dot OLL's so that I can use COLL. So I don't technically know full OLL (I'm off by 7 cases) :)...

My dot OLLS algs are pretty good same goes for the recognition lol. My question is. Is learning VHLS, COLL, etc etc... a little too much for sub-15? I mean that sounds like something you would want to learn if you want to be like Sub-10

dont bother with that stuff yet. just do sledge if you see dot. work on more important things like cross and f2l.

I'm just under the 15 second mark, and I have a little over half the COLL's done. If you can sub-1.5 all of your OLL's and sub-1 your PLL's, it isnt worth it. Learn maybe a few easy case, like niklas and anti-niklas, as well as H. Otherwise, you might be better off with OLL/PLL. I agree with molarmanful tho. Learn some of the VHLS cases, because dot OLL's suck. Even an insert with a sledge hammer instead of a regular insert to avoid a dot case is fine. Try and do it with intuition though for the cases instead of algs for every single one. Then you can use that during your F2L to get a better case for another pair.

Most of my OLLS are around 1.5 seconds and PLLs are usually from sub 1 second to 2.5 (n perms) (some g perms) I honestly don't know what to do

If all else fails, take a short break. a few days to a week can help. If you don't want to take a break, try FMC. you might find new inserts or strategies for x-crosses and other stuff. Try new methods. Just get a better understanding of the cube if you feel you dont have as good of an idea on how pieces get moved around, or why algorithms affect the cube in the way that they do.

what is FMC? Fewest moves?

basically. or take a break, those help sometimes. I took a break, came back and was sub-15 after plateauing for about 6 months at about 16-17 seconds

i took a couple weeks break in july. So i dont think i need another break. maybe ill just learn new f2l tricks and xcross tricks. Do you a website or video with xcross tips and tricks

Based on my own personal experience, knowing full F2L, OLL and PLL can get you to sub 10 seconds without extreme difficulty. I do not really focus on extra cases/algorithms nor X-Cross, but rather focus on finding the next step before I finish the current step. In other words before I finish the cross, I try to find the first pair, before I finish the first pair, I try to find the second pair etc. I do however suggest practising other methods to widen your knowledge/feeling of the cube. Other methods such as learning blindfold, ZZ, or roux in particular. Concepts such as freestyle block building, edge orientation, commutators will be useful for any serious speed cuber.

I did try learning roux at one point but completing the last edges just confused the poo out of me. Honestly i'm thinking of just experimenting with the cube and find how I can make an efficient cross or find new ways to pair up f2l pairs something like that.

yes. Experiment with different ways to preserve pairs, or build blocks. I have an x-cross explanation/tutorial that will be on my channel in about an hour.
Thank the lord, i really need to learn how to make efficient xcrosses. I also found out one of the reasons why I'm not consistent if because I pause to much between pairs in my f2l stage and I use to much inefficient moves and cube rotations. Maybe i should slow down my turning speed and look ahead more
