I think that since the resolve was actually done at the competition that it is a step in the right direction. An error was found and something was done about it there and then. Then after the competition it can be looked at and the previous time re-instated upon looking at it more closely. This is what should be taken away from this, nothing else.

To me this looks legit, the angle of the head and location of the blindfold seems to make it clear that he could not cheat. I would hope that the WDC looks at this and allows the solve to count, given Angel Lim's solve in the past, however, whatever decision is made should be respected.

The WDC is not involved. This is stuff that the Board will deal with as there is no chance of any "discipline" being needed. It's case of deciding how the regs should be applied.

Most of the board members don't replay to threads at speedsolving.
Make a thread at the wca-forum. Maybe you have more success there.

But I doubt, that your 'world record' will be recognized.

Official procedures take time. Wait for it. The board will obviously not ignore it. There will be a clean verdict on such cases with good reason. Just have patience really. I understand you have feelings and all but keep patience and trust in the WCA for fair decisions.

how do you know? if they say no, i won't be that upset. but i will be if they don't make a definite and final rule for THIS special situation.

no, WCA takes time everytime an error occurs like this. but idk why they do. but they will respond. i have talked to some delegates and they told me so
